Hm... I think I do... 'cept I seem to be too busy to find it. :P Well, except for the magic of too many things appearing on my to do list every day. *sigh* The weekend is coming... then I can relax a little and have some fun. And I've got a lunch date on Friday. :) That makes me happy. Anyways... goodnight everyone!

2 big news items today.

First, as my title suggests, my computer sucks. I had to wipe the harddrive and reinstall Windows from scratch. I'm still trying to get things at least close to back to normal. It's a very, very long process. :P Grr... I'm not very friendly to computers at the moment.

In other news, the dance last night was awesome! :D And Matt's and my first dance competition went very well. :) We got 3rd place. Many people think we should have gotten 2nd, but I'm just excited we placed. That has got to have been the craziest salsa dancing I have ever done. It really was a blast. And my god there were some good looking guys who could dance there. :D This one guy named Dominic was so cute, everything he did and just the way he looked, yes, very cute. And he could dance like nobody's business. Oh, and Michael and Megan got 1st place in the competition!!! Yes, meek and mild Michael has now been proved the best salsa dancer. He will never live this one down. ;) It was a good dance. Kate seemed to have had a blast too, although she's complaining about a blister on her toe. She looked so good out there. I doubt there was a guy in the place that didn't take notice.

And BUSY would be the main theme. Yes, but I'm happy ahyways. It's been beautiful here up until a day or so ago when the smoke rolled in again. School is going well. Of my 4 main classes, 2 are super easy so far and the other 2 aren't too bad yet at least. Choir is going to be great as always, conversational spanish should be good practice, and aikido is turning out to be a lot of fun so far. :) Thanks Patrick for talking me into that one. I'm also keeping very busy as the treasurer of the GAAP club (accounting club). And I'm an accounting lab tutor too! :D That would be the part of all this stuff I get paid for. So basically, with all that, don't expect to ever find me at my apartment between 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on any weekday that isn't some sort of holiday. But weekends are mine. :) Oh, and dancing. Naturally I'm doing that too. I'm helping out with the beginning ballroom class, as always, and of course dances and the like. Last night I finally got to wear my blue dress that I made this summer to a ballroom dance. It was perfect! :D That dance was a lot of fun too. I still can't believe Chris had the audacity to show up and not dance at all though. *rolls eyes and shakes head* Oh well, whatever. That guy needs some confidence in his dancing. :P Speaking of confidence in dancing however, there was another guy there who I had never seen before, but he was a pretty awesome dancer. Not perfect yet, but I hear tell he's in the intermediate ballroom class, so he'll be getting better. :) I think I'm addicted to seeing people, especially guys, become better dancers. And it really grates me when they say they want to get better, but refuse to practice. (i.e. dance with me) Oh well, enough ranting about that. Oooh, tonight there's another dance. :D A latin dance at Lower LA. And it will also include a latin competition which Matt and I are going to be doing. :D Yay!!! It'll be both of ours first dance competition. It's not exactly a big deal kinda thing, but it'll still be fun to do, whether we win or not. But I'd say we have a decent chance, with Matt's repetoire of moves and mine from this summer that I've been teaching him (with Tim's help when he was here). It's gonna be a lot of fun. And Kate's coming too. Although she and I need to go shoe shopping to get her some dancing shoes to go with her red salsa dress. :) So, that's primarily what my day will entail. Yay! Shoe shopping and dancing. ;) Alright, shower time. Good day everyone!

Yay! Orientation is over!!! I can now start my life again and maybe get some real sleep. :P Hurrah! I don't have to get up tomorrow morning until I feel like it. (Or tomorrow afternoon, although I might want to stick to something closer to a "normal" schedule since classes start on Thursday.) Yes, classes on Thursday. I start off at 9:45 a.m. with Aikido. That should be very fun and interesting. Brad's taking it too and Patrick is an unofficial TA for the class, so it will be lots of fun. And Patrick won't let me slack off too much, so I'll probably learn it very well.

Yippee!!! Tim arrives Thursday afternoon/evening! This weekend is going to be awesome. Lots of contra dancing. :D

Well, seeing as it's after midnight and Kate is already in bed, I need to get to bed myself. Goodnight all!
