A place for me to express myself and put random things that won't make sense to anyone, including me!

CR Pending...
Ok, I really do intend to tell you all everything there is to tell about my trip. But it's taking awhile cause I refuse to do it without the aid of pictures. i.e. I'm updating my website... slowly but surely.

Sunny weather? - check! Balmy 68 degrees at, uh, midnight? - check!
Ok, so I've been yelled at to write in my blog again... and this time it wasn't Kate! Well, I'm doing great, as anyone who has talked to me lately knows. Busy and a bit tired, as always, but excited and happy as well.
Work is going quite well. Everyone there is rather jealous of me right now though... keep reading and remember we're in the middle of tax busy season and you'll understand why.
John and I are getting along fabulously, perhaps a little too well. ;) Although I'm sad to say I won't see him for three whole weeks starting yesterday! :( Although I really can't complain too much, since I'm causing over half of that. Again, keep reading and you'll understand. John is leaving for his spring break though, which is the week after mine. He's going to Oregon with his parents to scout the place out and enjoy some slightly warmer, although possibly wetter, temperatures.
For my spring break, on the other hand, I'm going to COSTA RICA!!! Woohoo!!! I'm so excited! I fly out of here at 2:30 a.m. this Thursday and get into CR at about 10 p.m. their time. I'm going with a tour group through the UAF spanish department, and a few people I know are going, such as Chris, for example. :) It's going to be a blast! We are in CR for 8 full days that are jam packed with all kinds of fun exciting things, including horseback riding, whitewater rafting, a canopy tour, lazy boat ride across a lake, volcanoes, rainforests, hiking, wide sandy beaches, hot springs, ritzy hotels, and a whole lot more! Then I fly back on Saturday the 19th and get back here at about midnight.
So I'm in the middle of packing. I've got a new (very daring) swim suit, new sunglasses, new sandals (tevas!), lots of sunscreen (50, 45, and 30), lots of batteries and film/cards for my cameras, and a whole big long list of other things. But now I need to get to bed so that I can go work for another 11+ hours tomorrow, and maybe get off early enough to go do a little more shopping for a few more random little things I need. Goodnight all!
