A place for me to express myself and put random things that won't make sense to anyone, including me!

Too long...

I think perhaps I have been negligent in my blogging. It has been awhile. Not too much exciting has happened I guess. Just keeping busy with class, my distance class, dancing, and occasionally reading and crocheting. Most of the time I'm just anxiously wishing time would go a bit faster so the 13 days that are left until I arrive in Oregon will disappear and I'll be there. That is definitely something I am looking forward to. Otherwise I went hiking yesterday. Granite Tors - 15 mile loop - 8 hours. Matt and I went and it was a lot of fun, although rather tiring for me at least. Matt was on hotshot crews for about 7 years, so he's more than able to handle long tough hikes like that, but I managed to hold my own reasonably well at least. It was a nice hike with some gorgeous views and some cool animals too. I'll try to post a few pics up here soon. I'm actually pretty surprised I'm not terribly sore this morning though. But that's good. Means maybe I'm finally starting to get in shape, at least a bit. As for future exciting things (besides going to Oregon), the fair starts next weekend, I'll probably go hiking again next Saturday, I have a presentation to give in class on Tuesday about Southeast Alaska Native art, and I've got plenty of distance class stuff to do. Good day all!

Like a toy plane, only bigger!

Kenai peninsula was awesome, the 4th was fun, and now I'm tired and not exactly looking forward to going to class tomorrow. :P I am, however, looking forward to a day 5 and a half weeks from now when I will be getting on a jet to fly to Oregon and see my sweetie. Anyways, I'll try to write more about my adventures later. Right now I'm not in a writing mood. But I will post pictures. Good evening all!
