Unbelievable!!!

Omg, I just had an absolutely fantastic evening of dancing.  Not to mention this whole weekend has been full of dancing, of a very different kind from last weekend.  Friday evening was a beginning salsa workshop and I got to be a leader.  :D  Then Tim and I went out to the Sandbar for the rest of the evening to do some dancing.  There were some good swings, east and west coast, and some other songs that made for good various dances.  This afternoon there was a cha cha and merengue workshop which was  a lot of fun, although I had to do cha cha starting on the 1, which was incredibly difficult.  :P  For dinner Tim and I came here to make smoothies... sweet and cold and healthy, just what two sweaty dancers needed.  ;)  Then we were back to the next salsa workshop, a continuation of Friday's.  Then we raced back here to change into something a little more fun for the dance/practice session.  Cynthia let me borrow one of her homecoming dresses which turned out to be a fabulous salsa/latin dress.  :D  The dance was so much fun.  My favorite part of it was when Antonio, the dance instructor, asked me to dance.  He is such an amazing dancer!  Dancing with him was by far the single best salsa dance I have ever danced with anyone.  It was so smooth and perfect, well, almost.  We did have one little mishap when he did a little lift and I ended up on my knees, but it was quick and I was back up dancing almost immediately.  It was a lot of fun though.  And Chuck and Tim were fighting over who got to dance with me next again.  :D  It's so funny to watch them signaling from across the room to try to catch me before the other could, or reserving dances in advance, almost as if I had a dance card.  lol  Well, my weekend of dancing isn't even close to over yet.  Tomorrow at noon is west coast swing practice, then hopefully we'll be able to dance a bit of other stuff after 1.  Then at 2 there's a women's salsa style class.  And then there's folk dancing at 6.  So I really ought to get to bed, seeing as it is just about midnight.  Goodnight all!
